GC China Turbine Corp. is currently in production of 1.0 MW Turbines and growing market share by exploiting its low-cost advantage. Cost of Production
The Company has extensively tested, verified and selected local suppliers for the components of its 1.0MW turbines. The cost for fully Chinese manufactured units is significantly less than imported turbines or those relying on imported components - subject to final system configuration. Cost of Generation
Using a 50MW wind farm owned by Kaidi Electric in Shanxi Pinglu as an example, the average wind speed of which is 6.8m/s, annual effective generating time is 2044 hours and classified as a poor third class wind farm.
